Frequently Asked Questions
What languages does Gazoz support?
Gazoz currently supports Hebrew and English with best-in-class accuracy. We're actively working on adding more languages.
How does the free plan work?
The free plan is the full local-first app: unlimited on-device transcription, a Markdown knowledge base synced to your own GitHub, and local AI workflows. No credit card required.
Which meeting apps does Gazoz work with?
All of them. Gazoz transcribes your Mac’s system audio, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack, FaceTime, phone calls, and even in-person meetings, with no plugins and no bot. You can also connect Google Calendar so it detects your meetings automatically.
Does Gazoz add a bot to my meetings?
No! Gazoz records and transcribes directly from your computer. There's no bot or agent joining the call, and nobody will know you're recording. It works with any meeting app.
Is my audio data stored?
No. Transcription runs entirely on your device, so your audio never leaves your Mac and is never uploaded to any server. Your privacy is our priority.
Does Gazoz work offline?
Yes. Transcription runs on local models on your machine and your notes live in a local Git repo, so recording, transcription, and note-taking all work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to sync to GitHub or use optional cloud features.
Where is my data stored?
Your notes and transcripts are plain Markdown files in a Git repo you control, which you can sync to your own GitHub. Your data is always yours: portable, versioned, and never locked in.
How much does Gazoz cost?
Gazoz is free. A Pro plan — with managed AI, teams, and sharing — is in the works, planned at about $14/month. Join the waitlist to be the first to know when it launches.
Do you offer refunds?
Gazoz's app is completely free, so there's nothing to pay for or refund today. When the paid Pro plan launches, it will include a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.
Which Macs does Gazoz support?
Gazoz currently runs on Apple Silicon Macs only (M1 or later). All transcription happens locally on your device, so it relies on the Apple Silicon Neural Engine and GPU for real-time performance. Intel Mac support isn't available yet.
Is there a Windows version?
We're actively developing a Windows version. Join our waitlist to be the first to know when it's available.
